Renowned actor and action star Shiva Shrestha, known as Nepal’s "Action King" and beloved by audiences in Nepal and Pakistan alike, has officially launched the Shiva Shrestha Foundation. The foundation aims to uplift Nepali cinema, culture, education, and social service through long-term initiatives.

As its inaugural activity, the foundation organized a Free Health Camp for Students on Friday, June 14 (Jestha 30) at Mahendra Adarsha Vidya Ashram, located in Satdobato, Lalitpur. The event was conducted in collaboration with Civil Service Hospital (Sivir Hospital), offering free ENT, dental, gynecology, and general health checkups to school children.

The camp ran from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM and benefited hundreds of students. Shiva Shrestha expressed that the foundation is dedicated to promoting Nepali film, culture, health, education, agriculture, and social service, and that such events will continue in the future.

Special guest Pampha Bhusal, from the school's management committee, attended the event alongside key figures from the Nepali film industry including Mohan Niraula, President of Nepal Film Artists Association, and Sunil Katuwal, the Association’s Treasurer.

Participants widely appreciated the initiative, noting that it reflects a strong sense of social responsibility among Nepali artists and sets a new standard for cultural philanthropy.
